Getting started

From registering to a working team. Ten minutes.

1. Create an account

Go to cloud.gerege.mn/openerp and pick one of four channels:

Channel What it needs Note
Google A Google account Fastest — one click
E-mail Address + password A verification link is sent; sign-in is refused until it is used
Phone A Mongolian number A code arrives by SMS
E-ID The E-ID app Scan the QR and the account is created

Whichever you start with, the others can be added later. Proving all three (e-mail, phone, E-ID) makes the account 100%.

Note: if you registered by e-mail you cannot sign in until the verification link is used. If nothing arrived, check your spam folder.

2. Create a workspace

After signing in you land on the workspace chooser. Press New workspace and name your organisation.

At that moment:

  • the organisation's data space is created, physically;
  • three roles appear — admin, manager, user;
  • you hold admin, as its founder;
  • the foundation modules (Contacts, Products) are installed for you.

One account may create up to two workspaces.

3. Install modules

Open the app store from Apps in the sidebar. Each module has an install button beside it.

Module What it is for
Contacts · Products Master data — the other modules refer to these
Inventory Warehouses, stock levels, movements
Billing Invoices, 10% VAT, e-Barimt receipts, receiving and applying payments, cancellations and credit notes
Documents · E-Sign Records, approval chains, signatures
Ledger Double-entry general ledger — a balanced journal per invoice, automatically
Office Word and Excel inside the browser
Gov Services Configurable workflows, hand-offs between organisations
Developer The portal for registering OAuth2 clients

Dependencies resolve themselves: installing Billing brings Contacts with it. The routes of an app that is not installed are closed — turning a module off locks the door rather than hiding the menu entry.

4. Invite your team

Invite members under Settings → Access. The invitation arrives by e-mail; the recipient creates their own account and joins the workspace.

The three roles you start with:

  • admin — everything, and skips permission checks
  • manager — read and manage (*.read, *.manage), and may sign
  • user — read (*.read), and may file government service requests

You can create your own roles and set their permissions one by one.

Under Settings → National identity, enter your registration number and confirm it in the E-ID app.

After that:

  • you can sign in with E-ID directly;
  • qualified electronic signatures become available on documents (through the PIN2 ceremony);
  • your account score goes up.

A registration number is unique across the platform: one number belongs to one account. If you link it to the wrong account you can unlink it yourself — unless it is the only way you can sign in, in which case you will be asked to add another method first.

6. Where to next
